CUT SUGAR, LOOK YOUNGER

Sugar overload increases our levels of vicious, skin-destroying free radicals while deactivating protective antioxidants. In the long-term, this leaves skin sagging and wrinkled.

It's the hidden sugars that are now such an insidious part of our diet. These add up, giving us an excess of sugar, and that's where the damage starts.

CUT SUGAR, LOOK YOUNGER!

UP THE ANTIOXIDANT - Invest in an ANTIOXIDANT skin serum, as sugar damage can be prevented but not repaired. Try L'Oreal Paris Youth Code, Prodigious Rejuvenating Pre-essence, target facial features that look tired, fine lines, dull skintone. Skin looks rejuvenated and visibly younger.

GET LABEL-SAVVY - Sugar is sneaking in everywhere, so either get into home cooking or start reading labels. The smaller the print on the food label, the less they want us to know what's in it!

BE GI-AWARE - Remember , the lower, the better. A bagel has a GI of 72 and a bowl of cornflakes is 84, but, surprisingly chocolate has a rating of 49, as the added fat slows absorption.

IT'S NOT JUST WHAT WE EAT - But how we eat it that matters. Eat everything sweet with a meal, not in between meals, to slow down the sugar absorption.

LOW FAT USUALLY MEANS HIGH SUGAR - When they take out fat, manufacturers usually up the sugar levels. Actually, most 'healthy' cereal bars are packed with sugar.

THINK FIRST - There's hidden sugar virtually everywhere - frappuccino can have five teaspoons of sugar in the syrup.

LOOK OUT FOR - Glucose syrup, corn syrup, dextrose, maltose, treacle - are sugars by a different name.
