TRADITIONAL REMEDY

TRADITIONAL REMEDY IS AN ALTERNATIVE TREATMENT TO HELP RELIEVE PAIN AND SOME SICKNESSES.

HERE'S HOW:

GINGER

- Widely used as a digestive support for mild stomach upsets and commonly recommended by healthcare professionals to help prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by motion sickness, pregnancy and cancer chemotherapy. Roughly pound some ginger, put it in hot water and cover it for 10 minutes. Add a bit of sugar if you can't stand the bitterness.

SEMAMBU

- SEMAMBU trees can usually be found at Hindu temples. The leaves can be used to treat chicken pox. Pound the leaves until mashed and spread it on the spots on the patient's body. It helps to relieve the itch.

NUTMEG

- NUTMEG seeds produce oil that can be used to relief stress and treat indigestion. Nutmeg oil also comes in handy for women with menstrual irregularities and cramps. You can find processed nutmeg oils at any pharmacy or grocery store.

CINNAMOM

- It can be used in cooking as well as baking, but also has extensive health benefits. Studies show that taking half a teaspoons of cinnamon "powder form" daily can lower your LDL (low density lipoprotein) cholesterol.
